During the corona epidemic, I lived in the center of Amsterdam. Normally, it's always busy there with a lot of ambient noise. When the lockdown was announced, the city center suddenly became deserted. All you could hear was the chiming of the Zuiderkerk clock. Otherwise, it was silent.
To get some exercise, I went for a walk every day around 6 o'clock. It was January, so it was already dark. In that deserted city center, I started photographing the light of the city and its residents.
