My kingdom for a horse
King's Day on April 27th is always an invitation to come up with something. A few things came together. The constant discussion among 17 million people about the royal family's budget. We decided to celebrate by setting up a stall at a flea market, and a horse girl was there. We were also near Zuidlaren, the horse village of the North. It seemed like a good idea to give the King a horse for his birthday in exchange for the kingdom, so he could go out into the wide world and we could manage on our own. Shakespeare came into it, and that's how "My Kingdom for a Horse" was born.
