Heartwarming light

When it snows, of course you go outside. I loved walking around the city. The atmosphere was so completely different. The whole Vondelpark was full of snowmen. The best videos I saw online came from the Noorderplantsoen in Groningen where people had come up with the funniest things in that snow. Logical, there is still nothing like Groningen. It was just fun with nothing and that's actually the best part.

In Amsterdam the light festival was still going on. I bought a ticket and headed out. I'd already seen it during the day. On the canal, in that snowy setting, a glowing orange radiator on the roof of a houseboat radiated a cozy warmth. Beautiful . Well-timed and very amusing to watch.

I went back again in the evening. It was just as beautiful. You can imagine all sorts of things, but for me, the view is enough. I'd like to see more of this.
