a mannequin in Paris

With molding you can create very beautiful spatial designs for clothing. By draping fabric on a body or on a mannequin you are actually sculpting with fabric. Many fashion designers design their collections in this way. I had done something with it, wanted to continue with it and went looking for a mannequin.
All options seemed to come from Paris, which is not so strange as the fashion capital of couture. So I had to go to Paris. An idea that appealed to me. I arranged a spot at the campsite in Bois de Boulogne and set off.
I love driving in Paris. Everyone anticipates each other and moves criss-cross, from left to right. Once in Paris I ended up at a flea market where there was a mannequin in one of the chains. After some negotiating I bought it and took it back to the campsite in a big bag. So my mannequin and I lay together in the back of my van at the campsite at night.
After a French breakfast I drove back to Amsterdam where I prepared the mannequin with a line to be able to mold. A win-win!
